Have you ever
taken fried and chopped liver, put it in a blender, liquified it, and
drank it?
Well, I
think even a calf liver lover would probably react negatively to the
thought alone of drinking such a concoction! Actually fried liver isn't
too bad to eat if you add lots of onions to it, and it is, no doubt, a
very rich food, especially rich in Vitamin A, K, Riboflavin, Niacin,
Pyridoxine, Biotin, Pantothenic acid, Iron, Zinc, Selenium, and Copper.
Well
Spirulina, a freshwater algae, is:
- The world's highest source of beta
carotene and Vitamin E
- Rich in the rare gamma-linolenic
acid (GLA), which is very important for the health of your skin and
brain, and yet the only other significant source of it in nature is a
human female's milk
- Rich in iron, magnesium, and trace
minerals, 70 minerals altogether
- The highest source of B-12,
essential to healthy nerves, and loaded with B Complex vitamins
- Full of unusual
phytonutients which act as powerful antioxidants
- Full of phycocyanin (blue), another
phytonutient, which also makes Spirulina a source of 19 of all 22 amino
acids (perhaps even sirloin steak doesn't have all these amino acids,
and it is loaded with cholesterol!)
Chlorella,
another freshwater algae, is:
- The highest natural source of
chlorophyll, in fact it has 10 times more than alfalfa!
- Loaded with magnesium, which is
needed to absorb calcium properly, and for cardiovascular health
- It contains the full Vitamin B
Complex (high energy), Vitamins E & C, and has a wide range of
minerals, especially phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, iron and calcium
- Is extremely rich in RNA and DNA
- Is rich in enzymes, which aid
digestion
- Is a powerful detoxifying agent,
capable of helping the body to elimate toxins such as DDT, PCB,
mercury, cadmium and lead, all while strengthening the immune system
- Loaded with Chlorella Growth Factor
(CGF), unique to Chlorella, which promotes rapid growth in children and
builds our immune system perhaps better than any whole food product
- Chlorella has been used effectively
as a topical treatment for damaged tissue
- Contains lots of growth promoting
substances, making it an ideal additive in breads and fermented drinks
(it also makes baked bread stay fresh longer)
- Chlorella is
alkaline, which helps balance your body's pH (acidic blood is
associated with many diseases)
These
two algae are such superfoods, that you could probably live on them
alone, along with water! After much research I finally ordered both,
and tonight I mixed them together with water.
What
does Spirulina and Chlorella together taste like? Well, like liquified
fried liver! I never expected the two to taste like that, and yet
that's exactly how they taste!
It is
sincerely the most disgusting thing you could even drink, and yet you
could probably cure many ailments with these two with the right daily
dosages. Yes, the two together are probably more powerful and
nutricious than chopped liver, and yet you have ZERO cholesterol, and
all the colon cleansing benefits of chlorophyll! Spread the word (with
the grain of salt about the horrible taste).
