   Notes
  1. The following nations recognise all states, nations, and other entities that the MPR recognises: 1) Independent Long Island (ILI); 2) the United Micronations Multi-Oceanic Archipelago (UMMOA); and 3) TTF-Bucksfan. MPR member nations are not obliged to follow the MPR in their foreign policy, although some nations/organisations have supported similar policies in the past.
  2. On 14 August 2009, the MPR has enacted the following policy: any sovereign state recognised by the MPR that ends up on the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom's (USCIRF) list of "Countries of Particular Concern" (CPC) — the US government's designation for countries with ongoing, egregious violations of religious freedom — shall cease to be recognised by the MPR. Sovereign states on the CPC list that were not already recognised, shall automatically become natio non grata, and shall be treated like nations on the MPR's Certified Terrorist Nations (CTN)Enterprise Name logolist.

    This policy towards "Countries of Particular Concern" (CPC) is the only policy in which the MPR is practically in sync with the policy of a foreign government.
  3. The territorial claims of New York State that are recognised are those of "The Emperor State", not The Empire State, and do not include "The Empress State", or the entire island of Long Island.
  4. The territorial claims of New York City that are recognised are those that include New York, Bronx, and Richmond counties, and exclude Kings and Queens counties, which are part of "The Empress State", or the entire island of Long Island.
  5. Jamaica Square, Independent Long Island's first municipal corporation, is also the former name of South Floral Park, NY, so Jamaica Square is not entirely a virtual city. Recently, however, it was discovered that Cyberterra, located at 43°0'0" North and 15°0'0" East, and a mere mathematical point in the middle of the Adriatic Sea, is a lot more than a virtual city, since it has actually been physically visited by two Germans.
  6. The Fifth World Community (5WC) is the world's first diaxenospitia.
  7. Independent Long Island (ILI) has been classified as a Fourth World quasi-nation (juridical nation only). Despite its potential, ILI is and remains largely a national project more than a nation, since there is little support for independence among Western and Eastern Long Island residents.
  8. Burma represents only the free nation or people of Burma, and not the Myanmar government, or the National Coalition Government of the Union of Burma (NCGUB). These latter two entities have no relations with the MPR, and the MPR does not recognise them in any de facto or de jure manner.
  9. Formosa, meaning "beautiful" in Portuguese, is the largest island in East Asia.
  10. The Republic of Rose Island (Esperanto: Respubliko de la Insulo de la Rozoj) was a short-lived micronation on a man-made platform in the Adriatic Sea, 11 km (7 mi) off the coast of Rimini, Italy.
